Class Description:
Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate, join your instructor Catherine Hillis for two days of solidifying your knowledge of basic technique and explore the many texturing techniques that can be paired with watercolor painting. Put it all together to paint your favorite scene of the beach.
The first day will review basic skills as well as a texture sample board and a fun textural painting. During the second day, learn how to paint beautiful skies and place figures correctly in the landscape. By the end of the two days, the goal is for you to create your own beautiful painting of a beach memory.
Bring photos of local scenes to paint from as well as extra paper for some fun exercises.
