Downtown Norfolk Fund
Here at the Downtown Norfolk Council, our mission is to serve the vibrant and welcoming center of Norfolk. We enhance Downtown Norfolk’s value, energy and activity by building authentic urban experiences and an inclusive community. We couldn’t do that without you and our incredible partners.
The Downtown Norfolk Fund is an extension of the Downtown Norfolk Council that seeks resources that allow us to expand our programming and projects in Downtown. A federally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that can accept charitable gifts, the Fund is an opportunity for both individuals and corporations to support creative placemaking, unique events and improvements to the public realm. Since 2012, the Fund has taken in significant donations to make the following projects possible:
- The Plot I and II
- NEON District Public Art Program
- Holidays in the City
- Parklet Program
- Bike Racks & Maintenance Stations
- Selden Market
Join us in our mission to improve and enhance Downtown Norfolk.
