Details

Love is Hard Work, the next Vitreous Theater performance, is inspired by Corita Kent's life story and her artwork that focuses on social justice. The play, written by Manoli Kouremetis with artistic direction by Andy Harris, highlights a moment near the end of Kent's life through music, storytelling, and glassmaking.

Corita Kent's work reflected her concerns about poverty, racism, and war, and her messages of peace and social justice continue to resonate today. She was a sister in the Immaculate Heart of Mary and is known for her ten rules for artists.

Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. One drink ticket is included with each ticket.

Doors open at 8 p.m. The performance begins at 8:15 p.m.
