March 23rd & March 30th
Ages 18+

Learn the basics of beginning working with fluid arts in this new workshop with Resident Artist Deanna Strother! Students will bring their own supplies and be guided through the process of hand mixing their paints to the correct viscosity needed, how to layer paints in cups, correct tilting processes as well as a formula to calculate the correct amount of paints needed to cover their substrates.

Session 1 will provide info for paint mixing, formulas for calculation and a first technique for completing 1-2 canvases.

Session 2 will provide info for mixing specialty paints as well as an additional technique for 1-2 more canvases.

Please contact Deanna if you have any questions about the supply list, fluidartsbydeanna@gmail.com or text 757-408-3098
