An open salon for artists & creatives to participate in the creation of a new play about Hampton Roads
The In[HEIR]itance Project is a national arts organization that is using the unique history of Coastal Virginia and the inherited narrative of Exodus to activate a dialogue on racial dynamics and displacement, and to create, collaboratively with the community, a play for the Virginia Arts Festival in May 2022.
At this gathering specifically for Hampton Roads artists and creatives, you’ll have the opportunity to share your perspectives on the region and your city, hear the experiences of others, and help shape pieces in development for the new play.
Free participation with snacks provided and a cash bar available.
