Join us for NEON Festival (5pm - 9pm 10/21) at d'Art Center and the opening reception of Dynamic for music, raffles, live art, art demos, an open to the public make-and-take, snacks, drinks, and awards! A special thank you to Carolina Cupcakery and Chef By Design for their wonderful food donations for our reception!
Cast Iron Catering Co. Food Truck will be in the d'Art Center parking lot during NEON Festival!

Dynamic features artworks produced only within the last two years (August 2020 - August 2022). Dynamic is an annual opportunity for artists to showcase their current style, aesthetic, and/or bodies of work, regardless of artwork theme, medium, or content during Norfolk’s Annual NEON Festival! The only requirement for this show is that work be created within the last two years (August 2020 - August 2022). We know that exhibition medium and theme requirements can sometimes make it hard to submit your work, so every year we make sure we have one opportunity that gives all artists an opportunity to exhibit!
This is a juried exhibition, and is co-curated by d’Art Center Gallery Manager and Curator, Amanda Bradley & artist, gallery owner, and exhibition juror, Ukwensi Chappell.
The call reached 27 states. 99 artists submitted for a total of 375 submissions. d’Art’s Gallery Manager, and the juror selected 66 pieces from 49 artists from 19 states!
