The owners of J&A Racing, Jerry and Amy Frostick, began their careers as race directors in 2003 when they took over the Shamrock Sportsfest in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Under their guidance, the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend has grown from 3,000 participants to a record 30,000 in 2015, making it one of the most popular race events in the country. Since 2003, the Frosticks’ portfolio of race events has expanded to include the Halloween themed Anthem Wicked 10K and Old Point National Bank Monster Mile, the Blue Moon Norfolk Harbor Half Marathon, Chartway 5K and Kids Final Mile, the Christmas themed Surf-n-Santa 5 Miler, the Crawlin’ Crab Half Marathon, 5K, 1K and Craft Brew Fest , Bon Secours In Motion ODU Big Blue 5K and the Corporate 5K.
