Ring in the New Year in Downtown Norfolk

It goes without saying that everyone is looking forward to saying goodbye to 2020 and welcoming in the new year. Whether your perfect celebration involves pajamas at home or getting all dressed up and (safely) hitting the town, Downtown Norfolk has something for everyone, and we’ve put together this list of happenings and specials to make it easy for you to plan a festive evening that’s just right for you. 

Brick Anchor Brew House will have plenty of cheer with New Year’s Eve gear to hand out for that perfect photo op, food and drink specials including happy hour from 3pm – 6pm, discounted to-go cocktail pouches and a complimentary champagne toast at 10pm. 

Freemason Abbey is celebrating New Year’s Eve all day long with day drink specials like the Screw 2020 and more. Chef’s specials will begin at 4pm and are available for carryout along with their full menu. If you’d rather keep the party at home, purchase one of their meal packages available on their website. 

Grace O'Malley's Irish Pub and Restaurant is featuring lots of food and drink specials, 2020 NYE favors, live entertainment from Donal O’Shaughnessy and a special toast when the clock strikes midnight in Ireland. 

Grilled Cheese Bistro will be open from 11am to 4pm on New Year’s Eve and is the perfect place to grab a delicious and filling meal before your evening festivities begin. They are featuring their famous Lobster Mac & Cheese grilled cheese along with their regular menu. You can also pick up one of their cheese board and wine special combos to snack on at midnight after you cheers to 2021.
