Class Description:
Join nationally renowned painter Ken Wright in this two-part workshop as he helps you sharpen your brush skills, learn and recognize the abstract form in realism, and develop abstract paintings using color, shape, line and form. This workshop is best suited for ages 16+ who possess painting knowledge and skills ranging from an intermediate to an expert/master level.
Ken Wright is a former Arts Commissioner for the State of Virginia and has won over 300 awards and honors for his work. More recently, Ken's work can be found in the collections of past Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, who displayed his pieces in the White House. He enjoys sharing his passion for art with students from all backgrounds and skill sets.
