About the Artist:

Tonya Hopson is an award-winning acrylic painter originally from Grand Haven, Michigan. Upon completing school, she joined the Marine Corps and active duty brought her to the Tidewater area. She currently resides in Norfolk, Virginia where she is active in the local art community participating in several art shows, exhibits and is a member of many art organizations. She is a resident artist at the Artists Gallery in Virginia Beach (VBAC) where she has a working studio and it is her primary retail location. Art has always come naturally to her so to have the opportunity to share her passion with others is a dream come true!

Tonya joined the d'Art Center in August 2021.

This workshop is free and open to the public, but your RSVP gives us an idea on what to expect! We accept walk-ins and RSVPs, but all spaces are first come, first serve - an RSVP does not guarantee your space. Please arrive on time.
