Let’s show Norfolk how NEON celebrates Bike Month! Get on your bike for the one and only nighttime ride in the NEON District! Riders of all ages and experience levels are welcome to attend this free critical mass group ride.
Meet at 8:00pm at The Plot in your best glow in the dark clothes, bike gear, gloves or shoes, with flashing lights and glow sticks. Free Bike Month t-shirts to riders. We roll at 8:30!
No registration required.
We love to ride with families and kiddos! However, training wheels and little legs (under 5) might not be able to make the entire 5-mile route. If you need a shorter route for your family, please find a volunteer on arrival at the Plot to assist with a detour.
Glow Ride is an organized ride for Norfolk Bike Month facilitated by the City of Norfolk Bicycling, Pedestrian and Active Transportation Commission and Downtown Norfolk. Final route to be posted before the ride.
Children 14 years old and younger are required to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Although it is not required, it is highly recommended that all cyclists wear helmets.
